What we keep, why, and how to ask us to delete it.

who looks after your data

Like a Duo, Brazilian company registration (CNPJ) 40.411.231/0001-02, based in São Paulo. Under Brazil’s data protection law (LGPD), we are the controller: the ones who decide what is done with the data that passes through this site.

Any request about your data goes to contato@likeaduo.com. The two of us read it ourselves.

what you send through the form

Name, email, brand, what you need and what you wrote about the project. We use it to reply and to talk about the work. Nothing else: we don’t sell it, we don’t lend it and we don’t put anyone on a mailing list.

The form is processed by Netlify, which hosts the site. The message is stored there and arrives in our inbox. The legal basis is your own request to get in touch, which opens the conversation ahead of a contract.

cookies and measurement

Measurement and advertising cookies only come in if you accept them in the notice shown on your first visit. If you accept, Google Analytics and Google Ads (from Google) and the Meta Pixel load. They tell us how many people visit the site, where they come from and whether our ads bring in enquiries. If you decline, none of them load. The legal basis is your consent, and you can change your mind whenever you like.

One thing always happens, accepted or not: the site stores your answer to the notice in your browser. It is not sent to anyone. Beyond that, if you decline, no request leaves this site for another company: even the fonts are served by us.

where the data is kept

Netlify, Google and Meta keep data on servers outside Brazil, mainly in the United States. The LGPD allows this transfer when the company offers protection guarantees, and all three do.

for how long

Form messages: for as long as the conversation makes sense, and at most two years after the last contact. If the project becomes a contract, tax documents are kept for five years, the period Brazilian law requires. Measurement data: up to 14 months, the period set in Google Analytics.

Write to contato@likeaduo.com and we will answer within 15 days. If you feel we haven’t sorted it out, you can complain to Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
